Les Mullins, Chairman of the Rotherham RC Racing Club, successfully organized a 6-hour Charity Endurance Race on October 27, 2024, in memory of Jack Lander, a beloved racer who passed away from Muscular Dystrophy.
The event brought together teams from various clubs Jack raced with and raised funds for Muscular Dystrophy UK. Generous contributions, including raffle prizes donated by WPL, allowed both event attendees and Facebook members a chance to win RC cars. With contributions from racers, the event raised £897.22, which the club rounded up to £900.
All proceeds were donated in Jack's name, celebrating his legacy and showcasing the RC community's incredible support for a meaningful cause.
