There's a minor update on the RES-V3 from around Sept 2024.
Before this, it's a hassle to realize the light function of the RES-V3 due to the tight space and the incompatibility of the connectors.
With slight changes on the board, the connection now requires an included external Light Adapter to connect your RES-V3 to the WPL LED KIT.
This external Light Adapter makes it possible to use the WPL LED KIT on more WPL models such as the C54, C64-1, C74, C74-1, D12, D22, D32 & the D42 as well when RES-V3 is being used.
If your new RES-V3 receiver does not come with this Light Adapter, you may request to drop this in your next order. *by 2025 this adapter should be included already
*only request if you want to use the Light Function. If you just want to use the Headlight only, this Light Adapter is not needed.
