Late last year, we made an announcement regarding changes of the battery connector from the common 2 wires(main output) + 3 wires(balance plug) configuration on 2S batteries to the Single 4 wires connector. This is due to the new safety requirement set by the China government.
It started with the C24-1 RTR and C54-1 RTR. From July, the production has switched to the new 4 pins version on all RTR models except the D42 Yellow, Red & Green.
The Official Store RTR inventory may contain both the old and new version connector.
If you intend to purchase Spare Battery for any of the RTR(Except C24-1 & C54-1 which are surely the new 4 Pins) and unsure which connector it comes with, you may contact us first before purchase.
This affects products rated 8+ years old. So yeah we are "Big Kids".
