🚨 We're Back & Important Update on US Tariffs 🚨
Hey guys! We’re officially back in the office! 🎉 Our team is already working hard to clear the backlog of orders accumulated over the Chinese New Year break. We estimate that all pending orders will be processed within 4-7 days on a first-come, first-served basis. We appreciate your patience—including those who just placed an order in the past few days!
🔴 Important: New 30% Tariff on US Imports
As of yesterday, the new US import tariff on goods from China has taken effect. While most news outlets mention a “10% tariff,” it's actually an additional 10% on top of the existing import tax.
Previously, under the de minimis rule, orders under $800 were tax-exempt. Orders above $800 had a 20% import tax. However, with the de minimis rule abolished, now every order—regardless of value—will be taxed at 30% (20% + 10%), plus an additional $3 MPF processing fee per parcel for customs clearance.
This is a huge increase, especially for smaller items. A product that used to cost just $1 may now need to be priced at $4+ to account for taxes and fees.
💰 Who Pays the Tax?
The 30% tax + processing fee is paid upfront by us, the merchant, to the shipping company before your order is shipped. This means we may have to adjust our pricing and/or shipping fees to cover the additional cost. This is not the same case whereby you have to pay your tax to the custom officer before collecting your parcel.
📦 USPS Stoppage? We’re Not Affected!
There's also news about USPS stopping parcel acceptance from Hong Kong and China. Good news: we are NOT affected. We are not using China Post—we use a more premium and reliable shipping option, with USPS still handling the majority of last-mile deliveries.

We’re actively monitoring this situation and looking for potential workarounds. Right now, it’s unclear whether this is a temporary disruption or a long-term change.
